Where is a nice place to vacation in East Africa. Where there is NO wars going on or it is not in much Poverty? Thanks

1. Kenya is.Many tourists go there from Europe. I went there to Nairobi and Mombasa on the coast.The Scuba diving on the reefs there are some of the best I have seen and I have dived all over the world. There is beautiful beaches on the coast , photo safaris inland , great shopping/restaurants in Nairobi. Mount Kilimanjaro is also a popular hike up to the only ice glacier in Africa.There is some poverty but not extreme , the country is relatively stable. Avoid northern Kenya bordering Somalia as there are a lot of Somali refuges stirring up trouble there and involved with trafficking drugs. I would highly recommend going there.

3. If I were going, I'd go to Rwanda or Kenya, with a side trip to South Africa.
4. Tanzania or Kenya are good choices. Tanzania is home to the Serengeti, the best safari location in the world!
5. Zimbabwe and the Victoria Falls, Madagascar, South Africa on the T Tip. Mozambique. all beautiful. The south is more of a draw for foreigners. The north, kenya and tanzania are currently experiencing a lot of fall out from uganda and the sudan.
6. Why do you want to pick somewhere with not much poverty. Tourism is a great source of income for many areas, and it is great to support it. Kenya would be good for a holiday as it has beaches, safaris, mountains, city etc. Rwanda is also a really amazing country.
