Some geologists believe than Indian subcontinent was once part of East Africa?

If u see the people of south india then they are on the same latitde as east africa. People of south india also resemlbe Australian Aboriginies and East africans But North Indians are totally different. Can this theory be true?

1. The Indian Subcontinent drifted into Asia over many millions of years and eventually crashed into it, forming the Himalayas. This all happend millions of years before humans ever existed, so any links between Indian people and other geographic locations have nothing to do with physical geography but rather migration.
2. Once a few million years ago there was this huge continent called pangea and the southern tip of India was joined together with east Africa.
3. The Indian subcontinent as once a part of a huge continental mass called Gondwanaland which also included most of Africa, Australia and South America as well as Antarctica.
