What is the best city in East Africa for an American to live in?

By East Africa I mean: Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Djibouti. I am wondering which city I should choose if I have to move my faily to East Africa in 2011.

1. Kampala - excellent climate (never hot or cold) and relatively safe :)
2. Ditto. Kampala, Uganda is awesome. Pretty, great food, amazing nightlife. P.S. Djibouti City, Djibouti isn't really in East Africa.

4. Addis Ababa....is easily the best capital in East Africa, lots to see, fine architecture and the largest market in Africa,with decent night life and even some well stocked shops catering to westerners. It is far safer than Nairobi.....nick named Night Robbery by travellers, a very dangerous place.
